These terms govern purchases and messages sent through Spread Joy Movement. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Service

For the displayed price, a purchaser may create a personalized message and receive a private surprise link to share. A purchaser may also choose automatic email delivery. Delivery or access may be delayed by incorrect contact information, inbox filtering, or service interruptions.

Permission and acceptable use

You may provide a recipient’s email address only when that person has given you permission to contact them through Spread Joy Movement. Messages must be kind, lawful, and respectful. Do not submit spam, threats, harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, illegal content, impersonation, fraud, or sensitive financial or medical information. We may refuse or stop delivery when needed to protect recipients or the service.

Private surprise links

Each paid message receives a private, hard-to-guess link. Anyone who obtains the link may be able to open the message, so purchasers and recipients should share it only with the intended person. Spread Joy Movement may disable links when necessary to prevent misuse or protect someone’s safety.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Because the service begins processing after purchase, completed or attempted deliveries are generally nonrefundable, except where required by law or when Spread Joy Movement determines that a refund is appropriate.

Wellness disclaimer

Spread Joy Movement provides encouragement and connection, not medical care, counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, or emergency services. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.
